Turkey Slow Cooker Chili

It's slow cooker season!  I will feature several simple slow cooker recipes  so that you can satisfy your hunger and prepare for the holidays.

Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

 The slow cooker does all of the work with this three ingredient chili.  My chili loving husband fell for this flavorful, simple masterpiece!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 26 oz (family size) tomato soup
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch ground allspice
  • salt to taste


**Feel free to add additional spices and/or other types of beans, onions, etc.


1) Brown turkey.


2) Combine turkey, tomato soup, and black beans in slow cooker.


3) Add spices and stir to combine mixture.


4) Cook on high for four hours or on low for eight hours.

Top with cheddar cheese and enjoy!
